Spotted in Boots! New Bourjois Top Coats

I am a real wanderer when I'm in Boots/Superdrug/Pharmacies. I tend to nose and snoop and try not to miss anything.

I was really excited when I saw these fancy new topcoats in Boots this week; "Laser Toppings". The only information I can find on these beauties is on the French website, with nothing having been released on the UK website as yet.

L-R  Sun Scales, Aqua Purple and Blue Neon.


These are bar glitters (not everyone is a fan) but it is exciting to see Bourjois getting in the game with regards top coats and nail products in general.

They have also released some caviar beads; "Manucure Toppings"

Barry M Kiwi

Hello to my lovely people out there!

Recently, I picked up the new Barry M Gelly polishes (they are so divine) and I've been wearing them to work on different occasions. I have had compliments on the brightness of these, and this time of year really is the time to get your bright on!

I am going to show you Kiwi in more detail.

To get started, here's a picture of an actual Kiwi - just to get in the mood! It's one of my favourite fruits.

I took these photos in natural (bad I might add) light. The colour is far brighter which you'll see further down.
I used two coats but I may have gotten away with one. They are wonderfully pigmented polishes.

These pictures were taken with flash - this gives a much more accurate depiction of the true colour of Kiwi. It's bright, and it's wonderfully green. I do love green personally and this one is a must-have in any collection!

Barry M Gelly Picks Part 1

Happy Friday to all my followers!! It is a lovely sunny morning in Dublin today - makes me really excited about the weekend, chilling out and getting some work done in the garden!

Today I have three picks from the Barry M Gellys... I am possibly late to the table on these, but I picked them up, by chance really and then found that I loved them!

Firstly I have "Plum" from the original collection. This needed two coats, and the formula is amazing! It just glides on and without top coat, is SO shiny! I was starting at my nails for ages when I had this on... stunning polish! Just look at that shine!

Blueberry is also from the original Gelly collection in 2012. I love the real vibrancy in these polishes - this blue is like a periwinkle/sky blue and it is really pretty! Another amazing formula with two coats, and so easy to apply

Finally I have Greenberry. This is from the 2013 collection. What a fabulous green - it's almost minty, I love the name though - I am not sure what a Green berry is ! Two coats again on this one, and no top coats were used for any of these swatches. You can see the shine on the nails, just incredible.
