KB Shimmer Witch Way

Holy Thursday... I will show you my first KB Shimmer polish today! This is Witch Way from the Halloween collection. A lovely purple jelly based glitter polish, with a ton of sparkle! I love this one, it's quite dark and I'm a fan of dark polishes on pale skin. It has a depth to it that you find it difficult to single out in polishes now, an underlying tone of almost black, which gives it an interesting feel!

I used two coats to achieve this opacity. I would go so far as saying it's quite a spoooooky halloween polish! Kind of reminds me of "The Witches" movie I loved so much when I was a kid!

Catrice Purpleizied

Back to my old reliable - Catrice! This polish is an old one, but I bought it online recently.

It is a heavy dark purple, with a strong silver fleck/shimmer. You would get away with one coat of this polish, I used two for the photos.

Catrice Purple Reign

Catrice have recently brought out their new line of nail polish! You can see all the new shades here. While I am missing some of the older shades on stands (I got my backups already!) I am excited to be trying out the newer shades such as this one; Purple Reign.

It is a lovely dark purple with a blueish shimmer to it, and when it catches the light it really looks amazing.

I am a huge Catrice fan, as you all know and I know there are many purples out there competing with each other -but we all love a bit of purple. I can't help it, and usually end up with so many dupes from buying all the purples I see!

Two coats on this one, application was smooth, as with all Catrice really. You can't go wrong for €2.99.

Candeo DiveBomb!

Phwoar! I love this polish! I introduce to you , Candeo Divebomb.

This stunner has a mix of dark and lighter blue glitters, and copper glitter.

I put this over Sinful Colors Sweet Nothing which I reviewed here.

Two coats for this clear based beauty!

Jindie Nails, Burrberry

Oh boy Oh boy!!! Do I have a real treat in store for you on this snowy crappy Tuesday-after-a-bank-holiday depression! This is my first and only (so far) Jindie Nail Polish. A friend in the US, happily obliged me and on my behalf, purchased this polish for a swap.

this took three coats, and it reminds me of berry ice cream! It has a lovely thin formula, meaning no draggin, clumping, glooping etc.

Sugar Rush Nails!

Oh my, thankfully it's Friday and a long weekend for us Irish (cheers St Pat!)

I have here, four polishes from the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush collection. I had these sent to me from the US of A recently, along with some poptarts :)

First up is Candy Coated. A lovely lilac creme. Application on all these polishes was fabulous, two coaters for even coverage and a great formula.

Second is Sweeth Tooth, a dusty pink toned lavender.

Third is Orange Cream. This polish has a subtle shimmer in it, I love this one!

Fourth is Sweet Nothing. This is a teal/blue creme. Love this one also , a great base for glitters!

Fifth and finally, Unicorn. I know this is part of their standard polishes also. A real Easter shade!

Icing Power To The Pink

I am late with my Wednesday pink so we'll have Thursday pink instead!!

This is the beautiful Icing Power To The Pink. This polish I received in a swap, and I would love to get my hands on some more Icing polishes - the application is wonderful. I used four coats, as the pink is quite sheer in the base.. It wears really well! Just look at the shimmer in the glitter, it is a fabulous combination.

Cirque Polish, Lonesome George

I am really getting into the spirit of green for St. Patrick's Day!

This is the beautiful, and holographic Lonesome George from Cirque Colors.

I love the formula of this polish, which was sent to me in a swap package from a wonderful friend in the U.S. It is my first Cirque and I can certainly say it won't be my last!

Two coats to achieve this tone, first picture is without flash in natural light, others with flash to show holo!

Sinful Colors Green Ocean

Today I have one of those very special nail polishes, that everyone has to have! This is Sinful Colors Green Ocean. This beautiful flakie polish is in a light green base, but is best used as a top coat .

I am wearing it over Catrice Miss Piggy's BF.

I like the formula, it is a tad gloopy but needs to be to hold all those flakies in there! Two coats over the base colour was required.

The Nail Junkie Polishes

Today I have two beautiful polishes I recently purchased from The Nail Junkie, on Etsy.

First up, I tried this gorgeous polish, I have seen so many white based polishes lately, but the simplicity of this one, with golden and red hex glitters, makes it very unique. This is Candy Corn.

I used three coats to produce this effect.. I think I would use four in future.

The next polish, is quite different from Candy Corn. This is Animal Fish. A wonderful almost duochrome base of blue/green/turquoise with a golden shimmer. It has small blue hex, bigger aqua and silver hex glitters. This is such a favourite of mine and I can really see myself getting a lot of wear out of it!

Catrice Miss Piggy's BF

Catrice have released a new line of "gel effect" polishes this spring. You can see their new line here. I have today, number 11, Miss Piggy's BF to show you.

This polish is a beautiful grassy green colour. It is SO shiny - this is the first creme polish I have tried from the new range, and I can see how amazing their new formula is.

I used two coats, for even coverage. Application, as always, is supreme with Catrice polishes! They really just glide on! Photos are in natural light, and second, is with flash.

On Wednesday's We Wear Pink! 06/03/2013

Today I have a stunning pink (maybe reddish) to show you! This is Nubar Prize.

This is the first Nubar I've tried and I purchased this one on eBay... It has a beautiful formula however definitely needs a topcoat, it is quite gritty on the nails.

Two coats for complete coverage, though you could get away with one!
