31 Day Challenge - Day 11 - Art Deco

Wow, I found this post really difficult! I am really new to nail art so this was a mind blast to come up with, and I'm not sure if I am fully happy with it!

I used Julep Petra for the base colour, which is a lovely deep shimmering red. It's beautiful! For the designs, I used Color Club Where's the Soiree and butter LONDON Poole.

31 Day Challenge - Day 10 - Animal Print

For day 10, and Animal Print, I decided to use three Barry M Gelly polishes, to create a leopard print mani.

I love the colour combinations here, the different shades of pink really make this print a bit unique!

31 Day Challenge - Day 9 - Flowers

Today for my flowers, I have used some of the new collection from Kinetics Portugal; Urban Legend.

I was sent 8 of this 10 strong collection to review, and will be doing so over the coming days!

The base for this mani, is Cat as Accessory. I love this muted blue. It has a real grey tone to it, which I like because I am a blue addict, and this one is different to any in my collection!

I used two coats of Cat as Accessory - it is a lovely polish to apply, quite pigmented and easily spreads on the nail. I found the flower colours too, to be pigmented enough to use with dotting tools. I am impressed with these polishes; for my first time to try them!

For the flowers, I used Empty Streets, and Gangsterine. I am loving these tones of late, very 70s shabby feel to my manicures for the past while

31 Day Challenge - Day 8 - Dots

This was a fun challenge - I love to try and match up different colours, to create fun looks on my nails. Etude House polishes are amazing for nail art; they are cheap (always a bonus) pigmented, and easy to work with!

I used three of their Ice Cream polishes to create this look, which I think is quite chocolatey, and quite 70s !

31 Day Challenge - Day 7 - French Manicure

I am on a BIG holo buzz - so of course I had to chose two holos for my French Manicure challenge :)

These are beauties - GOSH Holographic Hero (Round 2) and Layla Misty Blush for the tip. I used striping tape to achieve an even line, and two coats of GOSH, and only one coat of Layla!

I really love this effect, and think that two different textured polishes might work even better, for this particular look!

31 Day Challenge - Day 6 - Texture

This is possibly one of the hardest choices for me to make - which texture to use for this post! I am on a really huge texture buzz for the last couple of months, so I think I'll share some new swatches of a couple of textures that really caught my eye. You really can't beat a bit of texture spam!

First up; one of the China Glaze Texture polishes. This is Of Coarse. This fabulous blue is one of my favourite of the textures I've tried. These polishes go on so easily and dry amazingly fast! This is two coats.

Next to show you, another new swatch and this is Zoya Arabella. I received this polish from SuperNail UK for review, as the new Pixie Dust polishes are being released now in the UK and Ireland. This polish has incredible depth to the colour, two coats (though you'd almost get away with one!)

31 Day Challenge - Day 5 - Black & White

I've been avoiding dark colours over the summer, but rooted out the beautiful Color Club Revvolution for this mani. Along with this lovely black holo, I used Julep Kate to create this dotty look!

I like the different effects between the white and the holo and although Kate has a slight shimmer, it doesn't really show up in the photos!

I have layered this over Mentality Moe.

31 Day Challenge - Day 3 - My Favourite Colour

For Day 3, my favourite colour, I have to choose purple. This purple though, this is a special purple!

From Mentality , Moe, is part of the "Stampers" collection. A purple holographic polish, with a blue duochrome, and holographic glitter. This polish is amazing! I haven't used a top coat in these pictures - it has a semi matte, semi gloss finish to it. So unusual !

31 Day Challenge - Day 2 - Pastel

These are my Pastel Nails for Day 2!

This is Kleancolor Pastel Teal - a greenish/blueish colour. This is another untried polish in my stash (So effectively I am doing two challenges at once!)

I needed three thin coats for this polish, which I found quite streaky and difficult to apply.
