JACAVA Chocolate Melts

Happy Hump day to my lovely readers!

Today I have a beautiful polish to show you from JACAVA!! Jacava is a UK based, and manufactured polish. Based in London, this company has brought to you, the world's very first "8-free" polish. JACAVA nail polish uses premium, high gloss, long-lasting and nourishing formulation helps your nails stay stronger and grow longer.

I was so excited to receive from polishes from JACAVA to review for my blog, and today I am going to show you the beautiful "Chocolate Melts". On their website JACAVA describe this polish as follows:

"
FOR ALL THOSE SECRET CHOCOHOLICS, THIS MELT-IN-THE-MOUTH MILK CHOCOLATE NAIL POLISH COLOUR IS AN INDULGENT MUST-HAVE!"

I love chocolate, but brown polishes I do not. This however, is creamy, and applies like butter. I have to comment on the wonderful formula of this polish. I used two coats, but may possibly have gotten away with one. The brush handle is lovely to hold, a nice length, and the brush itself enables me to apply the polish just the way I like it (I am not a fan of fat/big brushes!)

All in all, I am impressed, this healthy formulated polish brand knows where it's at. With formula and interesting colours, it really is worth having a few in your stash!

So here are the photos!

JACAVA is availabe on their own website, FEELUNIQUE , and Amazon.co.uk for £14.50. They have a new collection being released this autumn too - so stay tuned to their Facebook and Twitter page for competition details and information. Don't forget, you saw it here!!

Embellish Me - Primark/Penneys Caviar Beads Kit

I am a sucker for bargains - it has to be said. I can't resist cute little polishes at the tills in Penneys. Recently I have noticed these little kits of polish & beads combos sitting pretty!

I picked up a pink polish/multicoloured bead combo - the pink has a fabulous shimmer in the bottle, and I was really hoping it would transfer onto the nails. What I like most is this neat little funnel you get - so when applying the beads, you can do it over a little box, or a lid from a box, and use the funnel to put back any beads that fall! This nifty little kit was only €3.50 - I think I'll be going back for more.

To the pics!

I used three coats of this polish, I found it very sheer, and not the best formula either but I could layer it over a nice opaque pink in future, because I do love the shimmer.

I was a little sad to have to cover this polish with beads, it's so girly and cute. The beads remind me of sprinkles for cupcakes - I really like the combo of both, but perhaps not on all nails next time! These beads also seem a bit larger than any beads I've used before.
They came off quite easily, melting underneath the nail polish remover.

Zoya - Stunning Collection

It's Monday - the first day of the long week ahead.. how do we cope? Pahlish!

Today I have two of the Stunning Collection to show you.

I received two of this collection to review; from Supernail and I was so excited when they arrived. I don't have many Zoya polishes; and these ones are beautifully bright and summery; perfect for this time of year.

Supernail are the UK's supplier of Zoya, and you can check them out on their website above, or their Facebook page here where all news and new releases will be shared!

The two polishes I received are: Mickey (an amazing coral cream) & Darcy (a sunny yellow cream).

I decided to do an accent nail with these polishes; and here are the pictures. I left this mani on for 3 days, there was NO chipping (without a topcoat) and I had many compliments on the accent nail - my hairdresser wanted to know what polish it was so she could purchase it herself!

Pictures were taken in natural sunlight, which really captures the shimmer in Micky perfectly! It's a really nice muted summer shade.

Summer Nail fun - Lemon & Lime Gradient

I recently had a huge polish haul from Kiko in Italy - two of these polishes seemed to shout lemon & lime at me so I had a stab at my first gradient today...

I used 297 and 355; Acid Green & Canary Yellow. I used a kitchen sponge to create this gradient, and I am happy with the "tie-dye" effect! I painted my nails with two coats of 355 first.

Here are the results! If you grew up in Ireland, you might be reminded of Loop de Loop ice-pops when you see this - I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it!

I couldn't attempt a gradient without topping it off with some glitter... could I? Check this out - this is "Rainbow Splat" from Glittering Elements (facebook / etsy ) topping off my gradient, and turning it into one amazing summer mani. I am in love with this glitter topper. It is PACKED with every glitter you could imagine. I really think this is the most epic glitter topcoat I have seen.

I will leave you to drool over it....

Glittering Elements: Sonic

Hello readers!

Today I have an exclusive preview to show you (how exciting!) from Glittering Elements, based in Australia. Casey sent me some beautiful polishes to review, the first of which I will show you now.

Sonic is a beautiful bright blue based polish, with red, golden, aqua and holographic hexes of differing sizes. It is so sparkly and bright for this sunny weather! Named after and inspired by the great Sonic the Hedgehog, this polish is a real must-have for barbecue season, and it certainly loves the sunshine!

I used three coats of this polish for even sparkly coverage - and on top I used a matte top coat. I love the effect it has on this polish! For the pictures, it shows the glitter inside much better - due to the shimmer in the base itself.

Look out for Sonic, which is being released this Wednesday, the 17th on Glittering Elements etsy store. You can also keep up to date on Facebook ! What do you think? Do you love Sonic?

Liquid Lacquer - Collide Into You

Do we all love teal?

I do- and this is a stunner. I found this polish quite sheer on it's own. Other reviews tend to disagree but I layered it over Kiko 344 for a boost. I only needed one coat of Collide over two coats of Kiko 344.

You can keep up to date with Liquid Lacquer on their facebook page here and website here. They don't ship intermationally unfortunately - I received this in a swap box from the US!

Ruby White Tips - Boo2

Humpday! Halfway to the end, which leads to the imminent beginning....

Ruby White Tips. Laura has some amazing polishes on her etsy store. Check them out! You can keep up to date on RWT Facebook page - there is a new collection just released :)

This is Boo2 - Boo is a Bat. I kid you not. A Bat in a Sanctuary, and a percentage of sales on this polish go towards helping that sanctuary. Here is some cuteness for you! Meet Boo.

Boo2 is a blue sheer base, with fine holographic micro glitters. You can use this as a top coat over blue or purple. I chose to use three coats of this polish alone, and I like the effect. It's light and summery and very pretty. This lasted a good week on my nails without chipping, I had some minimal tip wear and I was using cleaning products quite a bit!

I really like this polish for a summery look - at a barbeque, outdoor party or shopping day!
