Nail'd It Jellystone

Hello Friday Folks! How ya'll doing?

Today I have a beautiful exciting polish to show you - and this week will be the start of some very exciting blog posts for me :) I am SO looking forward to sharing my finds with you all!

This beautiful Indie comes from Nail'd it - a purple jelly base with lots of different glitters, but a minty green micro shimmer. I am in love with this - and the sunshine really made it pop when I tried it out! I layered this over Pure Ice Purple Reign

I am hoping to try more of this fab brand of polishes soon - before the photo spam, here is a link to their Facebook page to keep up to date!

I used two coats over the base colour , no fishing was required and the formula was very nice.

Pure Ice Purple Reign

Wow - we have beautiful weather yesterday and today! The sun is out, the birds are singing and it puts me in a really great mood!!

This polish LOVES the sun - this purple polish with a bronze shimmer is a stunner. I am a big Pure Ice fan indeed and this is no exception on their fab formula for an amazingly good price!

I took these photos in the sunshine, and it shows the shimmer perfectly

How do you like shimmery polishes like this one?

Barry M Gelly Picks Part 1

Happy Friday to all my followers!! It is a lovely sunny morning in Dublin today - makes me really excited about the weekend, chilling out and getting some work done in the garden!

Today I have three picks from the Barry M Gellys... I am possibly late to the table on these, but I picked them up, by chance really and then found that I loved them!

Firstly I have "Plum" from the original collection. This needed two coats, and the formula is amazing! It just glides on and without top coat, is SO shiny! I was starting at my nails for ages when I had this on... stunning polish! Just look at that shine!

Blueberry is also from the original Gelly collection in 2012. I love the real vibrancy in these polishes - this blue is like a periwinkle/sky blue and it is really pretty! Another amazing formula with two coats, and so easy to apply

Finally I have Greenberry. This is from the 2013 collection. What a fabulous green - it's almost minty, I love the name though - I am not sure what a Green berry is ! Two coats again on this one, and no top coats were used for any of these swatches. You can see the shine on the nails, just incredible.

You can get Barry M in Boots, and Superdrug (which have a larger collection) in Ireland and UK. I have seen them for sale on Littlewoods website, and from their own website which I have linked above.

Happy Friday!

Different Dimension Rainbows & Butterflies

I am a huge huge fan of the amazing polishes for sale over at Different Dimension. This, I think has to be my ultimate favourite. The name really portrays the effect of this polish in my opinion.

We have a silvery base, with a rainbow of glitters, and some pink butterflies :) How girly, how perfect!

You can buy these polishes on Etsy, Llarowe and soon; Edgy Polish. Keep up with all updates for this fantastic Indie brand here.

Rainbows & Butterflies, has a fabulous formula. Here I am showing one coat, over Gosh Holographic Hero, which I thought would be a fun base! I was right - it shows off it's sparkles perfectly!

Crazy Polish Lady Handmade Polishes

I recently came across a new Indie maker on Facebook. Based in Portugal, Sofia makes 3 free polishes, which have meaning to her.

Her first collection, which I am showing here, is entitled "Colors Are The Music Of My Life". There are eight polishes in this collection, with a varying colour range; and holo glitter.

I adore these polishes, their simple beauty I cannot describe - you really have to see them in person. The pigment in these polishes has depth and vibrancy.

First one to show you; is Strawberry Swing. A stunning rich girly pink that is almost opaque in one coat.
I used two coats.

Next I have Cosmic Love. Whoa... a navy jelly for which I used two coats. This one is a stunner!

Now, we have Chasing Cars. A wonderful deep black, again I used two coats here.

Blood On The Dancefloor is a stunning deep dark red, darker than my pictures show in the sun! It is blood red indeed. One of my favourites!

Kiss The Rain is a very dark teal. I love this, it really reminds me of a rainy Irish day!

Next up is No Leaf Clover. This green is stunningly opaque for the light shade it is. It's rockin'!

Secret Garden is a wonderful dark grassy green. I used two coats here, as with all polishes

Lastly, Violet Hills. A lovely dusky lilac, a colour I've not seen before in polish.

I am wonderfully impressed by this first collection.. Polishes are a wonderful texture and I love the variation of colours coupled with the glitter effect.

If you fancy getting your hands on some of these beauties, you can get there here.

Giveaway over at Just For Fun!

We love giveaways right?!

Check it out at Just for Fun !

Etude House Strawberry Ice Cream

Recently I have to admit, I have had some huge nail polish splurges! I got some fabulous Etude House polishes via eBay and this one shocked me with both quality and formula/application!

This baby pink polish, was opaque in two coats, it has lots of glitters inside, pink, purple, blue and aqua hexes of varying sizes and a very sparkly shimmer which is subtle but noticeable in the right light!

For the price I paid for this little gem, I am in awe. I stared at my nails for hours, and I wore it for 3 days - a record for me! It is so durable too, with base coat, top coat and two polish coats, there were NO chips or tip wear, and I am heavy handed when typing and had some housework to do while sporting it!

Beware for utter cuteness, because this bottle is divine.

Note there are some star glitters in this polish but I was unable to locate them, even spending a long time fishing in and out, they are not visible through the decent pigment of the polish.

Liebster Awards

My blog was nominated for the Liebster Award this week, by Erika & Victoria over at Nail Addicted Sisters .  I am truly honoured so thank you girls, this has been a wonderful surprise! :)

You need to thank the person(s) who gave you the award and link back to their blog. Post the award onto your own blog, and give it to five bloggers who you think deserve it, that have fewer than 200 followers.

Leave a comment on their blog letting them know that you have given them this awesome award.

Happy weekend everyone! :)

Here are my FIVE nominations!

Zoya Indigo

This here is Zoya Indigo - I am new to Zoya polishes, and this one is very pretty, I found it difficult to transfer the shimmer to the nail however, and was a bit disappointed. The application was very nice, two coats and it was opaque, no streaking or glooping!
